HCM City to host precision engineering, manufacturing tech expo

HCM CITY — MTA Vietnam, the annual precision engineering and manufacturing technology expo for Việt Nam and the region, returns to HCM City next month.

It is expected to offer manufacturing professionals opportunities to network, exchange expertise and knowledge and seek business opportunities.

The  一 五th exhibition, also the largest so far, will have more than  四 二0 exhibitors from  二 四 countries and territories, including  一 三 international group pavilions from Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, BT Tee, general manager of UBM VES, the organiser of the expo, told a press briefing in HCM City on June  二 一.

MTA Vietnam  二0 一 七 will showcase a wide range of engineering products for Việt Nam’s manufacturing industries, from additive manufacturing/ 三D printing, machine tools and tooling systems, metrology and laser systems to precision engineering and semiconductor manufacturing equipment and materials and components for automated manufacturing, he said.

John Tang, director of the Taiwan Trade Centre’s HCM City representative office, said  六 四 Taiwanese companies would have a presence in the Taiwan pavilion, the biggest foreign one at this year’s show.

Taiwan is the seventh largest machine tool maker and fifth largest exporter in the world, with its products being very competitive in terms of quality and prices, he said.

MTA Vietnam would be the most effective platform for Taiwanese companies to access the Vietnamese market, he said.

Held along with the expo will be technology conferences, seminars and workshops.

To be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from July  四 to  七, the exhibition is expected to welcome  一0, 五00 visitors. — VNS
